Msi 1070 question

I'm getting a msi 1070 if I choose msi z170 over the asus z170, will there be better performance

also what is the best z170 from asus and msi under $200

If you're trying to ask if pairing an MSI video card with a MSI motherboard will net you performance gains - it will not. 

 

If you're simply asking which motherboard is better in general, that's an entirely different conversation.

Overbuilt, high quality and comes with nice features. Its a board built for overclocking. Only downfall is that its max supported ram is 32GB because it has 2 ram slots less. 

With a strict $200 budget, that's the best board to pick from the lot. 

 

Other boards to consider are the Asus Sabertooth S, Asrock Extreme 7+.
