Witcher 3 "Already Running"

Just downloaded the Witcher 3 GOTY (was 45gb), took a whole day, then when I go to launch it nothing happens, I click play again and it says it's already running. Tried rebooting, it doesn't show up in Task Manager. Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

I mean if I were you I would uninstall and reinstall it, if you can't figure it out.

Did you try ending steam in task manager?

Well, this sounds like something went wrong while it was downloading. I don't know what to say. Sorry man that sounds sucky.

Spend 2000 euro on a pc, build pc, get blue screen errors and rebooting problems for 3 weeks, finally fix them, download the witcher 3 wont start. Have to wait till next month to redownload it. PC master race my ass

Yeah. It can get complicated. I'll trade you my PS4 for your PC if you're that angry

 I have a ton of games for it as well.

I actually sold my ps4 when I was saving for my pc, kinda regretting now tbh

Yeah. When I built my first one I spent just under 650 euros on it. 2000 seems like a huge investment for something you've never tried before. But maybe you can figure it out. Have you emailed steam?

Everyone sugar coated it and never told me about all the potential problems/errors that might happen  Yeah I did hopefully they get back to me
