I built  a PC for my niece, and now the peripherals need to be upgraded.

First and the most important is the monitor.

Currently she uses a cheap and old Acer V236HLBD LED which has also some defect on the screen(Will see if warranty still holdsto fix it).

Even if the monitor is still under warranty I want to upgrade the monitor so she enjoys her new system.

Her build currently is:

What im looking for:

1080/1440p

Good panel technology (IPS, Good TN, other ones im not familiar with)

Low MS for gaming (Not tournament quality, but still some fast paced games)

HDMI/DP at least, others optional.

Able to rotate,Up, down, Sideways, (90 Degrees optional).

Any other options I missed?

Thank you.

What's your budget?

From what I read, you have a 6400 and an rx 470 in the build. So I would recommend a 1080p screen:

Are acer considered good monitors?

My monitors cuurently are Dell  U2412M and another Dell IPS whose model I cant find atm.

The acer that she uses now have a dark vertical chunk on the screen, like the led got durtier in the middle.

After looking through the available monitors in my country that suits my needs the left are:

Dell P2317H

Dell P2317HWH

Dell P2417H

and considerably more expensive:

Dell U2417H

What do you think, which one to take?
