Internal blu-ray burner

Recommendations?

 

The purpose is mostly for recurring backups, although I suppose I could watch blu-ray movies, although I do that mostly streamed these days.

 

Currently the plan on the new build is:

SSD OS/apps

HDD internal everything else > external (or NAS?) > BD

(Also considering some cloud backup options, but BD is important to physically have my own copies on hand.)

 

The backups will be more frequent internally:

Critical stuff (only changes in important things) nightly.

The rest of the main stuff weekly.

 

The backups will be less frequent on the BD, like once a month.

 

At least, that's the projected plan, it hasn't been fleshed out with specifics yet.
