So I have an iPhone 6 and a few weeks ago I noticed that it would randomly die before the battery dropped to 0%. I have no clue why and it occasionally will die when the battery is at 40%. Strangely enough, after it dies I can't turn my phone back on even if the battery is still charged and I have to plug it back in which will cause it to display the battery percentage it was at before it died. And if I use it afterwards the battery lasts for a reasonable amount of time considering the percentage it is at. I have no clue what is causing this and unfortunately my warranty expired literally 2 days before I started having this issue. (Cough Apple warranties cough) Does anyone know whats causing this and how to fix it?

I know the iPhone 5 had an issue where some models would randomly shut off even at a reasonable battery percentage. Maybe something like that with the 6 is possible?

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!
