I got a new 4k tv , and 4k videos and 1080p are awesome but , tv cable is crap.

I was thinking that maybe the conection is the problem.

My tv is connected via SCART cable , to the receiver or modem or.. I don`t know how to call it.

But I can use AV cables too.

Are av cables better?

Don't your tv have a build in reciever?
Via Scart or AV its no wonder that its crap becasue it is 480i or 576i resolution and analogue.

I believe both are one in the same. Most Scart leads I had when growing up ended in the Aux connectors of a the AV type.

Most of the boxes in the UK (sky, Freeview) have HDMI. Last one I used was for my Xbox 360 to connect it to a monitor as the monitor only have VGA.

That connector you called AV is a composite video connector. It maxes out at 576i. Scart supports both, composite and component video interfaces. Component video is basically the same thing as VGA and it really doesn't have a maximum resolution but at the time they made those, they usually set them up for 720p which, at the time was the maximum resolution produced by DVDs for instance.

So it's tricky. Scart can carry higher resolution than AV but it might not. It might be exactly the same even. But I guess the fact that it can be better makes it kind of better.

It has but i can't use it because this boxes have some kind of card , and without that card it does't work.

For exaple , ifni wach something on tv , and i take out that card it stops. Everyone here în Romania has this things (satelite tv)

Check if your TV has a slot for CI+ modules. If yes contact your tv provider if they can provide you such a module.

But since you have a rather new TV, I'm 95% sure that you have such a slot.

They should look like this: KD_CIPLUS_MODUL_01.png

And the slot on the TV like this:
