Just need some thoughts on the current build. Maybe someone has other idea's that will work better for a $1500 build?

Whats your idea for the build? Gaming, editing, recording, web browsing, amazon, youtube, gathering dust on a shelf?

So not hardcore editing I'm assuming. Gonna throw out the idea you want to play the hottest crisis 300 with all the good MLG things and all things good and expensive. I can suggest pouring minimal money into anything besides CPU and GPU. (graphics card). Those are the most important. A mid range i7 and a good price Nvidia card will put you on the track for triple A performance.

I would suggest a better psu. You could replace the case with  Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case. This would allow you to get a better psu and stay in budget. Many excellent choices. Consider something like EVGA 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply or Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Made a good parts list that's well under budget. I didn't check out the specific parts but this looks good to me. Ask around more to see if its good.

Graphics card and cpu should be at least 400 each in a high end build. Not putting a price on perfection here but that should get you pretty close.

I'm not sure. Its up to you to make  sure, personally I would go for a MSI but I don't know much about the cards in question. Let me look at a couple 400~ US dollar cards and get back to you.

I know you didn't ask me, but I would say NO when it comes to motherboards. Asus has better BIOS (my opinion), 3/4-pin fan headers, very good support software. Not to say that MSI is bad. They are well engineered products.

Water cooling can be unnessicary. Most people choose it because its quiet. A strong cooler like the 212 hyper EVO is just fine.
