USB disconnect sound when opening CUE (corsair)

Pbr38

Hi LTT community

So, I just got an Asus Z170 Hero motherboard and now whenever i open CUE i get a USB disconnect Sound. This is particularly annoying as the software opens up in the background on boot. This also happens when there are no usb devices connected to the computer at all. I have tried both 1.x.x and 2.x.x and they both have this issue. The only corsair product i use is a K95 RGB (the tramp stamp version).

everything in device manager has a driver.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Let me know if you need any more information.

Thank you for your time.
