what GPU ? If you can wait it could be worthwhile. AMD's new chips and 1080ti are inc which could both improve current pricing

Dont buy it for 1080p 60hz, only for 1080p 144hz or 1440p+, its just a waste otherwise. Get a 480 or 1060, they can still max out games at 1080p fine (Unless playing at 144hz or 1440p+).

If you can wait. Wait. Except you have an awesome deal selling your hardware and the change is so little to you that won't hurt whatsoever... I'd try to sell mine as pricey as i can and doo a quick math. How much extra $$ i'm spending and how much relative extra FPS am i getting. a 1:1 ratio is good enough for me, maybe it is for you too? Depends on you wallet and a 1:1 ratio in that segment is already a good compromise.

What is your current GPU? If you are ok with turning down a few settings, you might still be able to hit 144fps (Or get close to it). It depends if you want to drop $400 just to max games out.

That can hit 144fps, but with settings turned down slightly. As I said, do you want to pay $400 to max games out or are you happy as is with current settings (It seems a little wasteful to me though).
