So a friend is having problems with his computer right now and I can't come up with an easy solution. The problem is that there is a program called upswept but opens as a program called ten that will play ads constantly in the background and is eating up cpu/ram the works. Anyway I suggested malwarebytes but it won't let him run it, then I suggested finding the program in the files and manually deleting it but it just comes back. I'd hate to suggest a reinstall of windows but if it comes to that he is fine.

Forgive me if I am getting it wrong but the issue isn't getting it on the computer per se but actually running it, he may have fixed it though. Apparently he turned windows defender off and forgot to turn it back on so maybe that'll help.

Well solved the problem, I doubt it was malware now cause it eventually began locking him out of things so I told him to shut it down and take the hard drive out, it wasn't an expensive one so I gave him one of my spares reinstalled windows and left a note inside his computer telling to stop watching porn on it.
