I am considering the lenovo yoga book as an alternative to a new laptop as my secondary device. What do you thick?
My situation is; I having a gaming desktop (with all the trimmings) for hardocre computing (gaming, video editing, software development, etc.), a laptop (Dell XPS13) for daily work, and many tablets in the drawer (they didn't cut the mustard).

Why do you need it? The XPS 13 is a great laptop. Unless you want to get the android version instead of the windows version i dont see a point.

isnt that android? is android going to cut the mustard? If you want a tablet we're kind of screwed right now for android tablets. The Yoga book and the Nvidia K1 sheild are all that are affordable and useful. that yoga book has a 1200p 10" screen; the only alternative I can think of is an iPad air which at the same price gives you 128GB, does not have a keyboard, and has a better screen

Sorry I wasn't clear here. The XPS 13 laptop is great. However I'm giving it to a relative in need. So could the Yoga book (windows version) be a good replacement or should I just go and buy another XPS?

There is a windows version for an extra 100GBP. If the yoga book is just glorified tablet then I'm not that interested I have a bunch of them in a drawer.
