google chrome causes display driver error

mvitkun

Sometimes when I'm using Google Chrome my screen goes black and then it comes back on in a bit saying "display driver NVLDDMKM stopped responding and has recovered" or whatever.

it is caused by google chrome because when I uninstall google chrome from my system it stops completely.I'd like to know if theres any fix you know of that would stop this because I hate using firefox,IE,Opera,or any of the other browsers.tried using chromium and it worked fine but after a while it started to do the display driver error.firefox,IE,and Opera and any other non-chrome based browsers work fine and I don't experience any display driver errors with them.

system specs

i5 2500k

tz77a mobo

8GB (2x4GB) 1333mhz

GTX 480

TX650 power supply

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling google chrome, tried using different versions same thing happens.

Tried changing driver versions from 310.7,to 306.97,to 310.9 no change.

Tried disabling hardware acceleration in google chrome,no change.

Tried disabling hardware acceleration on flash,no change.

Tried uninstalling separate installations of flash on my pc,no change.
