Hello,

I'm planning to replace my aging AMD Processor with a Intel i5-6500 Processor, but the Kaby Lake information are all-over the web right now possibly going to be released next year, is it still ok to purchase a 6th Gen Intel Processor right now or just wait for the next generation of Intel Processor?

Well it's not a big jump in performance or compatibility... I'd be fine with buying an i5 or i7 right now.

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."

If you can wait, wait. The performance increase will be very slight, 10% at best per core. However, upon the release of kaby lake, skylake prices will drop. By waiting, even if Kaby Lake is disappointing, you can just buy a sky lake for cheaper.
