Hello Everyone :D

I am thinking about building a new pc with a good Mobo that will support later upgrades with basic starting components.

Here's what i thought about :

Mobo         :   MSI-Z170A-XPOWER-GAMING-TITANIUM-EDITION

CPU           :   Intel-6th-Generation-Core-i3-6320-3-9GHz-4MB-L3-Cache-Socket-1151-Boxed

CPU cooler :  NH-U14S-Ultra-Quiet-Slim-CPU-Cooler-with-NF-A15-fan

RAM           :   Corsair-Vengeance-LPX-16GB-2-x-8GB-Memory-Kit-PC4-17000-2133MHz-DDR4-DIMM-C13-Red

CASE         :   Kolink-Refractor-Midi-Tower-Gaming-Case-Black

(Random case , but i do want it to have top and bottom vent ports)

PSU            :   Corsair-CX750M-Builder-Series-750-Watt-ATX-Modular-Power-Supply-Unit

( i want a PSU that can handle upcoming upgrades)

GPU           :   Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX-1060-Windforce-OC-6GB-Graphics-Card

( i will take all the advice possible here , but i was thinking about a SLI config later on )

SSD           :   Samsung-750-Evo-500GB-Solid-State-Drive-SATA-III-6Gb/s-2-5-inch-Internal

(500GB is enough for me to get started and i will add a HDD or PCI-E storage device later on)

This will bring my total up to approximately :  £1100 but i could go to £1300 only if necessary ( worst case scenario )

I can't wait to see if i was mostly right and what other suggestions everyone might have :D I like to think i know my stuff but you are amazing here and i  can't wait to see what u might come up with :)

Thank you for taking the time to read through and attached you will find my notepad sketch.

i realy want to keep upgrading most parts for the next... 4-6 years , so i'm thinking about a good mother board , that's all :D

Don't worry about the motherboard for future upgrading. About the only upgrade that the motherboard would support would be a Kaby Lake cpu next year. After that, any CPU upgrade will also involve a new motherboard with a new socket and chipset.

Meanwhile, any GPU upgrade is bound to be compatible with PCIe 3.0. Other parts, such as RAM, drives, etc, should still be available in DDR4, SATA, M.2, etc, form, but newer types may also be available that would require a new mobo.

Instead, with a few changes now, you can avoid some need to upgrade:

- get an i5-6500 or i5-6600k instead of the i3 (Or conversely, get an i3-6100 to save a bit of money)

- get a basic CM Hyper 212+ cooler

- you only need a CX550M, even if you overclock.

- get a less expensive motherboard. Throwing money at the motherboard won't make it future proof. If you don't intend to overclock, you can even get a basic B150 or H170 mobo.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

i have reached a somewhat final thought on what i want to build...

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Q9jJm8

that would be the list, the thing is ... i really want to go for a 850evo 500gb ssd. Is that something bad ? is it not worth the money ?

Also , i have though to buy this pc in "credit" (spreading the cost over a few months starting with the ssd itself ( i currently have a hp laptop and i can start using it right away)

Then start with buying the case ( so i can start mounting the new bits i buy) > Motherboard > 8gb ram to start with > Cpu ( stock cooler to begin with and integrated graphics) and i think i will end up going with the 6700k depending on how well i save this Christmas > psu.

I can now power on the pc :D and use it for yt and stuff. Next think to buy would be the gpu and cpu cooler followed by another 8gb ram.

What do u think about all this ? especially the ssd. I think if i spread the cost correctly i can have a full pc by march.

Thank you for reading though all this again , and i really appreciate your help.
