Hello guys!

This might not be new, but can be promising. I'm talking about the Akitio Node. It might not be as sexy as the Core, but hopefully can deliver the same, or at least close performance. It has some obvious downsides, like not having an ethernen port or USB ports, but it is almost half the price.
What do you guys think about this? Is it worth to give it a shot?

This is actually nice for those with powerful laptops.

I like the design better on this one, more refined, kinda looks like a Lian Li mini case (PC-TU100B or PC-TU200B).

However, not having USB ports or ethernet, it might not seem a bargain on the second thought. A good Thunderbolt 3 dock (THIS is what I think is good) costs $150, just for having the same results as you'd achive with the Core. So at the first glance, it seems good, but you should consider what do you want to do with it.
