So hey guys, I am a first time pc builder and I'm looking for a decent pc overall. Not the best of the best, but still a really good PC. Since it is my first time I don't know much about it and hoped you could help me? This is what I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tTtdxY

Any tips would be usefull.

Thanks!!

Looks good to me, but I'd switch the i7 for an i6600K, and I would probably also choose another PSU (this one is a Tier 6 which is really bad).

For PSU recommendations you can look here : https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

Allright I have changed some of the parts and hope this is even better: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tL7JtJ

Also: I'd like to stick with the i7 for in the future when i would maybe start streaming or video editing. I heard the i7 is better for that (of course gaming is the main thing I would use my PC for) unless you really disagree with this? This PSU is a tier 2. Anything you dissagree with?

I would get some faster ram.

You can get the RMx 850W for the same price as the 750W RM.

Or the CoolerMaster V750W for $79.99 after rebate (Assuming you are in the USA)

Yes the rest looks fine.

As you are in Belgium then check out the EVGA G2/G2L and SuperFlower Leadex Gold as well for the power supply. The other two I mentioned above are also good units.

Allright! Thanks! I think i have my final build now, I'm rocking the RAM you suggested and the Cooler-Master v750. All the rest is the same. Thanks again for all the tips guys!

Maybe get a large PSU 750W doesn't really future proof you much. I had a 650 and then when I wanted to install a second GPU had to upgrade my PSU first. Up to you and up to how long you are going to keep this current configuration.

A 750W is more than enough for SLI.

It's fine for that card but I was more using that as an example of my experiences. I would ,with past experience, get a more powerful PSU. Just my own opinion.

Yeah you might be right with that, but I'm planning to stick to this setup for a while. (And by a while I mean a few years) I think I'll just change the PSU when I'm planning to upgrade my system since I have reached my budget for now. Thanks for the feedback though!
