man o war wireless 7.1 question

I got it once for about 10 minutes before returning it, because it's an utterly overpriced piece of s*** that sounds like a cat died inside a trashcan while rolling down a hill, on fire! Don't believe the "7.1-will-work-in-a-headset-in-that-price-range-hype", it just doesn't and you are way better of with decent stereos.

That being said, yes, they charge while plugged in and you can still use them. Same goes for the Logitech G930 which is often compared with the razor. That one sounds even more s***y though .... :-)

There are very good stereo headsets in the 200€/$ price range. Try them before you buy them, they all differ in some way you might not expect, I for example am very picky when it comes to sound quality AND "hang around neck"-feeling, can be challenging :-).

Have a look at

Sennheiser PC 373D (virtual 7.1 shit can be turned of which turns them into good but overpriced stereos)

Audio Technica ATH-PG1 (basically porn for your ears)

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Plus (mic-arm needs to be purchased extra, but oh boy, beyerdynamic, as always, knows how to build speakers)

All three of these (sort-of) stereos will absolutely destroy the man o war. (all got cables though)

If you need wireless for some reason, I can't recommend one, (for me) there is no good wireless headset. they all suck, that's why I went with cable.

If you ask me what I would be again in that price range of all the countless headsets I had, it would be the AudioTechnica followed by the Beyerdynamic.

Hope this helps you out a bit.
