After seeing the ad's in Linus' videos I thought I would check it out.

Now This has gotten me a little confused because at the top of the rules page http://www.intelgamingpromo.com/inte...giveaway/rules it says

"NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING".

Ok? so you don't need to buy anything to enter....?

But then when you go down further it says under the how to enter section

"1.PURCHASE: Purchase any Intel® Core™ Unlocked Processor product to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes."

Now on the registration page it asks questions like:

where did you purchase?

and

what did you purchase?

then at the bottom of the page is says

"No purchase necessary"

So I'm curious what are the actual requirements for this competition?

Does this mean anybody in US or Canada can enter whether or not they bought an Intel unlocked CPU.

What rule do you normally go by if there are 2 seeming contradicting rules?

Or is there something in here I'm missing and there is a reason for both?

You can mail in a entry as well which does not require a purchase. They do that due to some legal mumbo jumbo :D

I might mail one in if I remember to.
