Hi so I have a custom loop but it has leaked for the 4th time this year seems to be the rotary fittings this time last time the block leaked out the copper plate and almost destroyed my graphics card i'm looking to simplify my PC I have already switched GPU's to Air just need to decide on a cooler for AIO any size would probably be ok 360mm 280mm and 240mm preferably not the Swiftech ones as I have heard bad stuff about those arriving cracked etc. I was thinking either Corsair H105 or 115. NZXT Kraken x61 or the ThermalTake triple rad aio but I have heard bad stuff about thermaltake this year with their cases being cheap so not sure of the quality of their other parts.

Thanks

Custom PC:

Intel Core i7 5960X GTX1080 Strix | 64gb 2400mhz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Ram | Samsung S951 256gb M.2 | 4TB WD Blue SSHD | EVGA Supernova G2 1300watt PSU | Acer XB270HU | Corsair K95 RGB | Corsair M65 RGB |

Thermaltake does have a lot of cheap cases. they also have alot of nice cases. they just have A LOT of cases. You're bound to find all sorts of things if you look at only a few of them. But there is nothing wrong with thermaltake or their AIO's if you want one.

H115i or X61 are both good coolers that fall right in the same pricepoint and performance levels... you can pretty much just pick whichever you think looks the best.

Also there is nothing wrong with custom loops (assuming you buy some reasonably good components for it) as long as you assemble it correctly and don't damage the O-rings in the process.

Yeah this is my second custom loop first time I used cheaper parts and I had no problem this Time I used the Swiftech Apogee GT block XSPC coin fit fittings Black Ice radiators and a D5 glass reservoir combo from XSPC but it't been really problematic this time the 90 degree swivel fittings I got from alpha cool keep seeping and I use mayhem sunset yellow coolant so I can really tell when it's leaking whereas last time I used distilled water. The new coolant I use also leaves like a white powder on the o-rings

To be 100% honest it's more wanting to downsize to a mid tower case than getting rid of the custom loop but its tight in my full tower so I was thinking moving over to AIO and it's less hassle when upgrading otherwise I would fix the custom loop by replacing the swivel fittings.

you needn't justify anything to me. if you don't want a custom loop then just get something out. if you want hassle free operation, get a noctua DH-15. If you want blingfactor, get CM MasterAir Maker 8

The noctua is cool but I think I would run into ram issues with it I recently ran into ram issues on a Hyper 212 on a build I did for someone I had to put the fan in pull mode lol not that that should impact cooling so the Kraken x61 cooler should be sufficient for 5960x overclocked this is the issue I have had I was told it wouldn't be enough by some people and then others said it would be plenty.

X61 should be plenty for a 5960x lol. But I suppose it depends how far you want to push it and/or how quiet you want your system. but you're certainly not going to risk overheating with any reasonable settings.

I just followed linus' overclocking video for the x99 platform typed in 1.3v and set the multiplier to 45 ran a stress test for 6 hours and it has been running like that since although I might clock it back to 4.0ghz and lower the voltage just to reduce heat.

well you always have the option to turn it down if it gets too loud for you, but you should be able to handle temps reasonably well.

Ok thanks :) I could only find testing for it for the 6900k and i'm guessing that runs hotter than haswell-e and that stayed below 70C at 1.36v 4.3ghz

Does the AIO cooler 's manufacturer warranty damages to your component if it leaks and damages it?

I'm not sure I don't know a lot about them the only AIO I have owned was a Corsair h50 years ago and it leaked but didn't damage anything after that I tried custom loops but now they are becoming very limiting and dictating what case I can have
