I've been thinking of making a pretty cheap, mini-itx computer that I could use for lan parties and such. Here's the completed list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1S5e4 and I was wondering if any one could make any suggestions and what I should change. Thank you.

Edit: Thanks for all of the input. Here's the new list http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1S65k

CPU: Phenom II X4 965. GPU: Sapphire Vapor-X 7770. MoBo: AsRock 970 Extreme3. Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600. PSU: Antec BP550. HDD: 1tb Seagate Case: RoseWill Challenger. CPU Fan: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2. Monitor: Some crap gateway 1650x1050.

Buy a single 4GB stick of RAM or a single 8GB stick if you can afford it.

[AMD Athlon 64 Mobile 4000+ Socket 754 | Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro nForce3 | OCZ 2GB DDR PC3200 | Sapphire HD 3850 512MB AGP | 850 Evo | Seasonic 430W | Win XP/10]

Change the motherboard because it a bit on the expensive side. This may be an option: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-fm2a75iae53 . And a single stick of 4 GB of RAM for expandability later on.

Anyways, the better 760K is cheaper, and the 7870 is better. Also, the i500 is a great PSU.

I wouldn't recommend that MSI board, some of the earlier revs blew up because of the terrible vrm design. I would recommend the ASRock or Gigabyte alternatives.

By going with a 2x2GB kit, you are limiting the upgradeability of the machine.
