Dual Display help

Im looking to get some help with setting up dual displays to a laptop. the monitors that i have are fairly old and only have a single dvi and vga port each. the laptop and the dock i am using it with both have a single vga port but when i plug the vga cables in only the dock port works. is there a way that i can get both ports going at the same time?

It depends on the dock but most likely you can only use 1 at a time unless the dock has DVI and VGA on it.

there are also USB 3.0 to DVI adapters
