I recently installed a msg HTC 960 and ever since then my display won't even turn on and when I go back to the graphics card I had before a msg 750ti to see if the new one is the problem it doesn't work either. I've tried it with multiple displays on both and with different cables. The computer turns on perfectly but my monitors just say no signal found. The monitors work when I plug them into my laptop though. Can anyone help me?

Specs

Fx 8350

Msi 970 gaming motherboard

16go corsair ram

Msi 960 and old one was 750ti

how is the monitor attached to the graphics card? DVI, HDMI, or DP.

Make sure the PCIe power cables are plugged in and that the monitor cable is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard.

I use. A vga to hdmi adapter. There is also a vga to dvi adapter that came with the 960 and I tried it with that and no luck. But with the adapters they work everywhere else

Everything is getting power even the graphics card is lighting up with or without the external power.

Is there a warranty on your motherboard? I think it might be broken

Yeah I just built it like three weeks ago. Everything is brand new

Do some more research and try some other troubleshooting methods, if nothing helps send it back.

It was the power supply. I think it finally died. I got another power supply I had lying around and it works perfect. The power supply was not providing enough power for the CPU or gpu. So the system wasn't fully booting up. The K you for your help though
