Hi.

I'm an MSci Computer Science student, and I am looking for a new solution for my notes and work.

Currently I bring my rMBP to campus every day, but I only use it for programming and other exercises that are obviously meant to be done on a computer. I mostly write things for hand - mathematics, circuitry etc.  I use a notebook per week, so it is very difficult to keep an organized repository of my notes and previous work.

I have been looking into acquiring a Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro, but I am unsure due to the price. All I need is a quality touch-screen with a stylus that is specifically designed for that screen, and has multiple layers of touch-sensitivity. It is not mean to replace my MacBook - nothing will every beat its keyboard, screen and performance.

Is the iPad Pro and Surface 4 the only options here? What do you suggest?
