Hello everyone,

This morning I was scrolling through Facebook trying to find something for work and it made me realise just how cluttered Facebook really is! I knew it was cluttered but not this much. Anyway I notice that on my Facebook Newsfeed the majority of the posts I scroll past are articles that have been shared, videos people have reacted too or groups I haven't even liked showing trash. I was wondering whether there is any alternative site which I could go to which is still linked with Facebook but only shows what people have actually posted and not things that people have reacted to or shared? I only want to see friends written statuses, photos and videos of their lives (creepy when I say it like that) and events people have put together.

Obviously I know there are other social networks out there which do exactly what I would like but unfortunately they do not have anywhere near the same user base as Facebook.

Thanks in advance.

I don't use FB much, but I think it's just as simple as unfollowing someone which you can do by going to their profile.

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

I don't really want to unfollow anyone though because a lot of my friends post really awesome stuff as well as shared sh**! D:

I think this (FB Purity) will help you a lot. I've been using it for quite some time now and it has a lot of features.
