if you're playing at 1080p 144hz, it will bottleneck. if you're playing at 1080p 60hz or 1440p the bottleneck isn't really noticeable.

That i5 will run the 1070 perfectly GO FOR IT !!!

The card will run pretty fine. Way better performance than gtx 1060.
I would pick the 1070 with no doubt if you have the $$$.

If course an i6700k will give a little more fps with the card,

But the i5 will run it at almost its max power and you will be totaly fine.
