So right now, I'm trying to use my Honestech Vidbox (originally intended for converting VHS tapes to DVDs but it works fine to capture composite video from other devices like my PS2) to capture and record PS2 gameplay on my MacBook Pro. Honestech does have software for the Mac and that software is what I was previously using on Windows to do the exact same thing but for various reasons I can't use my Windows laptop to record my PS2's output, but I do have my MacBook.

What I am attempting to do is set up a YouTube stream where I stream gameplay from my PS2 games and I could do this easily if I could use my Windows machine but it's a little harder on my MacBook. The reason is that the product key I have for the Honestech software appears to only work on the Windows version of the application and not the Mac version. I do have the device driver installed for the Vidbox capture device on my MacBook, but OBS (which I was also using for YouTube streaming) doesn't seem to be able to detect it, at least not right now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm running the latest version of Mac OS X (Sierra).

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.
