Multiple Monitors with Different Resolutions

I have 2 ASUS VH242H's [23.6" 1080x1920] and I'm now doing a lot of photo/video editing and I want to get a third monitor to go in the middle and also intended to use it for gaming with all three monitors using 2 GTX580s

option 1: the Asus pb278q [27" 2560x1440],

if I got this monitor would I have the problem when dragging windows that they would be different dimensions?

and would gaming using multiple monitors not work without me having to change the screen resolution?

option 2: the Asus ProArt pa246q [24.1" 1920x1200],

and if you have any reason on why I shouldn't get either of these id also like to hear your opinion [:
