Google images virus?

Is it possible by getting a virus when saving a picture from the google images search thingy (ya know "save image as/set as background")

Yes. It can have malicious code in the background of the image, which can open an exploit hole or install malware all together.

No  symptoms  im usingsandboxie when i browse the internet anyway,but my sister doesnt.

 

Should I just install windows on another partition,she really wants to save images that she never usesviews.

".jpg.exe" is not an image, and would not show up in a google image search.

Have her use imgur to find images then, as it is secure, and has a favorites system, so she does not have to download them.

I liked your idea until I searched for the things she likes to search for (1d and Phan) and it doesnt seem to be able to fing anything good tumbl and pinterest could be an good option tough ;D

You could always have her just bookmark the page with the image on it rather than downloading it. 

 

assuming you use different browsers or profiles, it would be the best solution
