Not experience with routers so....

hello! So here is my situation

 

I live in Kentucky and here internet is ridiculous in price so my speeds are 15 up and about 1 down that's what I believe my parents are paying for ( yes i'm 16 ). We are using AT&T Uverse for those you are familiar with the service. 

 

 

so this is my question that I have, Me and my younger brother along with my dad constantly use our internet for video streaming, online gaming and uploading YouTube videos all at once. Is their a router you could recommend ( if that would actually help me out in this situation ) or something else because It's kind of getting unbearable sometimes when just me and my brother are playing online games on each of our PC's

 

Also would a better router help with live streaming? I want to stream game play more often and I've always had issues. Thanks for the help guys!

Not much, unless your router is still empty cans tied together to strings.

 

unless your issues are stabilities, I don't think changing your router would do much for ur speed

I believe the internet speed is your issue.

I always have had issues to were someday that my internet would just fluctuate up and down and just doesn't stay stable at all what ever I do.

try borrowing someone's router first, because that could easily caused by your actual internet (ISP's side) intead of your router.

its one that was provided by at&t not sure exactly the name but i decided to take a picture of it

yea I rly want to say It's prolly just your net.

 

but, if it really bothers you, doesn't hurt to just try and borrow someone's router and just try it out, though I'm still airing on presumption that it's just the net speed.

ok thanks, thats what I thought it was but I've heard other things and just wasn't sure. We plan on switching providers in less than a year so il make sure to look for something better than what we have thanks
