I overclocked my 6700k to 4.7 Ghz no Problem all runs well but up 100 °C.

Is this normal, i have a Corsair h100 gtx/v2?

I think i maybe ******* up the thermal paste.

I run prime 95 and only 8-9 min later it hit 100°C and 30°C Water or what ever the pump reads out.

PLS help i know prime 95 isnt a real world test but still 100°C on water.

sounds like an improper mount. try pushing in on the water block as you stress test and see if temps drop at all. if they do, the pump isnt making good contact

Something is definitely wrong, I have mine OC to 4.8ghz with a 1.32v, temps after extensive stress test only ever reached 73 degrees max on 1 of the cores, the others maxed at around 65-67

im using a corsair h115i as well, so deffo mess with your voltage :)

now that are temps 100% load 50 °C fixed thx m8

No worries, just remember to stress test it for like 30-60 mins to make sure you don't get crashes, last thing you want is to be rendering a video or exporting some other file and it crashes on you haha
