ATX 1150 TO MINI ITX 1151

mike19922

Hello guys, so this is my build! As you can see I had to sell my previous MOBO, RAM, CPU, case. And used the money to purchase the LGA 11151 MOBO, RAM, CPU and the case too.

First, I had some issues with RAM clearance since the fan was touching it. So I had to move it up a little, the result was not able to close window panel but no biggie. Second, I had no room for the PSU cables because my error for not measuring them.

I moved the fan so much because I had no room with the RAM. They are very sexy and good performance that I had to buy them. As for the GPU, the underload was 64°C with the fans at 65%. I am not certain on how the temperatures will be once I overclock but I hope it’s not a big difference. Overall I had a pleasure for building in this case and I am very pleased with the results.

By the way, my room is always at 29°C which might be affecting the temperature results. Playing GTAV for two hours with no overclock, underload temperature was 62~63°C and the idle was 36~38°C.

Thank you for checking out my build!

Maybe a stupid question, but there's no possibility of attaching the fan on the other side of the heatsink? That would solve the RAM clearance issues.

Otherwise, nice build, similar to how I want to do mine soon.
