[Question] Ram drive

Hi guys, i've just recently watched the video from youtube about ram drive. i've got question 
for example i've got 32gb of ram (4x8gb) can i make the ram drive 1 complete 32gb or it would be divided to 8gb per drive?

You can't make a ram drive of 32 because than you don't have system memeory left.
But you can make it as big as you want, your not limited to groups of 8.
you could make one of 24 gb, and you'd have 8 left

Yes i mean my main question is does the ram drive limit to the size of single module or it can combine to other size?

lets say i have 64gb (4x16gb) and i want to make 32gb of ram drive. 
will it be 1 32gb ram drive or 2 16gb drive? since i've got only 16gb per module?

it does not work that way

the RAM drive software does no care how many RAM modules you have in your system

how much is the maximum capacity i can make in 1 ram drive?

you can make as big as the OS allows you to

max size = total RAM - how much OS needs

 

but, if you start opening programs, and the OS doesn't have free RAM available (since it's allocated to the RAM drive), you will start having problems

 

you should leave ~ 8GB for the OS to grow

so it will not cap to the size of every module right? so i can still make 1 32gb drive if i have 64gb ram?

didn't I already told you that it doesn't care how many modules you have?!!?!? 

 

yes, you can make a 32GB RAM drive if you have 64GB of RAM
