for vids, yes, but it is not good for any games

I am not looking for it to be good in gaming, I have a custom built gaming PC for that. I just am going to use this for listed above items

depends what kind of games, i can play all my games on an i5 4200u intel hd graphics 4000 and i can get quality and framerate that is good in my opinion

No, not at all. The screen is HORRIBLE - it's a very low-quality TN and is harmful to your eyes. Build quality is VERY bad - cheap plastic everywhere. Keyboard is not good at all - mushy and unresponsive - the trackpad is mediocre at best and crap at worst. It's also louder than you'd expect
