application not found error after downloading

I am trying to download stuff for my calc but when i try to open it. it says application nowt found. This has happened for many thing things. plz help.

When you download a file where does it go? Also, what exactly are you opening after downloading a file?

When i download a file it goes to my ssd where i want it. I am opening what you see on chrome when you download something. i am trying to extract to file but no workie. If i put chrome to auto open it wont even open.

Try finding the location of the file and opening it from there

tried that. it no workie. thats where i get the error from.

Hmm. I'm not really sure then. Maybe try to make sure the entire file downloaded and wasn't corrupted in any way.

I tried using edge aswell. This has happen for a few other things. i will say i did download some stuff that worked. its been off and on.
