My cat is a ghost

It has happened ALOT of times, when i look and i see my cat somewhere,i turn around, look back and he's not there. And when that usually happens i can't even find him anywhere and then he suddenly appears in the most obvious spot like he was there all this time! Anyone else has this happening? I know those , were placed probably wrong.
