So I know pretty much nothing about laptops because I am exclusive to desktops and my moms laptop charger has been very finicky for a long time where it will only charge when its plugged in a certain way and if you move it then it will stop charging. Now it has gotten to the point where it will only charge if you struggle with it for a while and eventually find a spot where it starts charging but if you move at all then it will stop charging. So my question is will any laptop charger work or do you have to get a specific one as a replacement? The laptop is an Acer e5-573g-59c3 Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The best option is getting an identical one for replacement. Otherwise you should be properly served with a reputable brand universal charger, just be sure it provides enough Wattage and comes with the connector type you need. However, the "wiggle the connector to charge" problem may be from the power connector on your laptop itself, do check if the connector on the laptop is loose, if it is, it may be the laptop, not the charger.
