I have a 1tb seagate barracuda in my rig.. I need more space and I am getting a WD 1 tb cheap.. First I wanna know that can 2 different hdds run together for a total of in this scenario 2 tb space.. Im not talking raid.. Just 2 hdd.. Secondly can the space of the new hdd be allocated to the existing c d and e disks or will there be a new disk in my Computer.. Thirdly if the space can be allocated how to do it? From bios?

Yes they will both work, it would be added as a new disk, and it will probably prompt you the first time it finds it in windows(no bios adjustments should be needed) otherwise you can add it from windows disk management utility.

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.

As long as your board supports the drive interface (sata, pci-e, m.2, ide) of the drive, you can add whatever drive you want, whichever brand, size (3.5 or 2.5") or capacity. It'll show up as a new disk. Don't think there's a way of allocating space from one disk to a partition on another

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB
