laptops for multiple people

so my tutoring needs new laptops, for their students. about 3 good functioning cheap laptops, they were thinking about chromebooks or laptop/tablets. so what would you pick? keep in mind that multiple accounts will work on there, so automatic password in-fill has to be able to be disabled. smaller laptops would be prefferd.

Chromebooks are useless - their CPUs are slower than the CPUs found in Tablets. Get 2nd hand Business laptops like a ThinkPad, EliteBook or Latitude

But they don't need good CPU's.

Trust me, they do. A Celeron or Pentium is slow even when just browsing the web or working in MS Office. It's sluggish as fuck. I've tried it

It's also next to useless for anyone who wants to get work done.

Check out the lenovo yoga 11e, they are EDU edition convertibles with low-power processors and are usually sold fairly cheap (check ebay).
