Hey guys, I use an SSD for boot/etc and 2 Seagate Barracudas for everything else. The other day something kept crashing from my first HDD, I turned it off, and went to work. When I returned everything booted normally but the first HDD wasn't found. I restarted and then it just gets stuck at the black windows screen with the colored icon appearing. It doesn't show up in the bios and I've already checked if it was the sata cable/port or the power. Is there anything I can attempt to recover the data? I'd rather void the warranty and lose just the drive.

I would try a different sata port or a different computer or in a Linux environment to see if it detects it.

Not many options after those.  I would recommend trying a different computer, but most likely it's dead.  You could search specifically for your drive and see if there is something to fix it.
