Do you guys recommend this?

I am looking at this laptop, what do you think? I will just be using it for school, do not need a lot of power and do not need discrete graphics.

yeah it should do well all tho you could spend about 1/2 of what it costs to get the same performance but you would gain some weight

The trackpad may be a little lacking, but with the price, you can't be expecting too much. It may just take more time to get used to than a normal trackpad

Most of the time I will be using a wireless mouse anyway so that would not make a difference to me.

Then I would really recommend this to you if this is your budget. I don't think there's much more premium at this price. it may resemble a macbook air, but is that really bad at this price point? If you've got any other questions about it, hit me up. I'll be glad to answer.
