CPU temps with watercooler?

I'm running a 6950x with a 120mmx3 frostbyte closed system radiator, and idle temps are 40-50c depending on my room temperature, and on CPU-z stress test its 70-76 Celsius core temperature, is this normal? If it's not normal, will it harm the CPU in any way? Will it degrade it's lifespan or performance?

Well honestly if you have a 360mm rad on that chip you should be able to achieve better temps than that.. especially at idle.

It doesn't sound ideal to be honest, but, it works well for me, I haven't had any problems in the time I owned it. Month or two, just concerned is all, do you think I need to replace my watercooler, it's about 2-3 years old.

If you've got the cash to splash on a 6950X why not a bigger radiator as well?

Because the radiator is as big as it gets its a 360mm radiator. Is this too hot or is this normal?

The idle temps are suspiciously high, but the stress test temps are pretty much right around where you would expect an overclocked 10 core to be lol.

Oh god... It's not overclocked. At least I don't think it is. I havent fiddled with it in the bios. Now you are worrying me.
