Ace Combat: Assault Horizon - Odd Performance Issues

Hey, LTT Forum!

I've recently bought this game because I remember playing it on Xbox back when I wasn't a PC gamer and I loved it. There's only one problem: I have some weird performance issues with the game, even though I know I shouldn't be having them. Some maps will lag me pretty bad for no reason, but normally my framerate is fine. Do you think it could be a driver issue? All other games run perfectly, such as Battlefield 3, which I run on Ultra with 60-90 fps.

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel i5-3550

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB

GPU Drivers: Catalyst 13.1

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
