Over clocking memory problems

I just got my new ram. It's stock frequency is 3200 MHZ so naturally I over clocked it to 3200 MHZ however when I do the screen starts acting weird with whites lines that com on the screen randomly. This only happens after i oc it over 2700MHz , 2700 is stable. I have tried ramping the ddr voltage to 1.4 but that still did not fix it. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

yeah it's unstable. you could try lowering (high number) the timings and see if that helps. do you have a cpu overclock?

Did you try just enabling XMP, without manually touching anything?

Yes I have a cpu oc. This happened to my old ram too. Also how do I set the timings?

Yeah but I don't see an option for it. When I enable xmp it sets it to 16-18-18-38
