Hi guys, I just joined this community seeking for help and suggestions. As the title says, I'm planning to build my first gaming PC for about $600-$800(US) price range. I've been researching about PCs and I know that there are tons of build guides out there, but I've decided to create on my own using PCPartPicker. (http://pcpartpicker.com/list/CfTrD8) I'd like to ask some questions about this this build, but before asking questions I'd like you to know:

- I'll be installing Windows 10 from a USB (it's cheap and CD isn't worth it in my opinion).

- I''ll be sticking with at least ~250GB SSD as my main drive (more storage later on).

- I'll be playing on 1080p monitor.

- I won't be streaming, editing videos, or any other intensive tasks.

- I'd like to play AAA titles maxed out with playable FPS if possible for this price range.

- I won't be doing multiple monitor setup,SLI/Crossfire, or overclocking.

- I'd prefer it to be as red and black as possible (it's tough to just choose colors).

- I want it to be future proof just in case for upgrades and others if possible.

- I won't be doing Mail-In-Rebates (it isn't guaranteed and is confusing).

And here are my questions:

- Am i spending too much /little on items that I shouldn't to meet my needs?

- Is there any better alternatives?

- Do all parts work well together in this build?

- Are there any downsides to it?

- Are there any problems with installing software/drivers (OS, Mobos, etc) that you notice?

- Are there any issue that I need to avoid or improvements I can make?

I know this is a lot to ask, and I do not expect correct answers for all questions, but I really want it to work out the best for what I pay. So any advice or recommendations will definitely be appreciated, and if any, suggestions from your experience would be nice for me to keep in mind. I am aware that prices fluctuate oftentimes, but I do expect it to be within my price range.

Thank you for the reply. I might consider about upgrading my CPU and getting a cooler. By the way, does the mother board i chose supports overclocking?

No, you need a Z170 board for overclocking a K series CPU.
