I need someone to code a plugin for a server.

Jack.EXE

So I'm helping overhaul a Minecraft server, and we have the idea of storing a few key items of player data.

Basically I need a plugin to log the time spent on a server, store a player's Gender (it's weird, but it's for Rank Titles ex: Emperor/Empress) and assign ranks based on these.

We need to be able to configure the time between ranks, and the titles of the ranks.

Anyone up for it?

Java is really easy, especially bukkit, I learned it in about 1-2 weeks, or at least enough of it to do what you are asking, however I forgot it all by now. It really isn't hard to do though, I would suggest just looking at some tutorials and doing it, since most people won't just program for free randomly

Edit: I mean, some people might make it for free and not care, but bukkit and minecraft contantly are upgrading and changing versions, I doubt people would essentially work for you for free for the future and keep updating...

ok, I might give it a try, my last attempt at programming did not go well.

Finding someone random to do this for you for free is slim to none. Ranks are going to have to be manually set. I have tried multiple times having an automatic rank up system but it doesn't work well.

another server admin figured out how to enable command block rank up, the plugin is no longer needed, I can just use a timer.

Why don't you just ask for a plugion request on Bukkit's site?
