sounds more like a glitch with the touchscreen drivers/software. Just keep them disabled and use your touchpad or mouse.

Hello, recently I have been having this weird glitch on my Windows 8 touch screen laptop. At random intervals it would move my mouse near the top right corner of my screen and click. It shows the touch animation when it goes over to it and when I disabled the touchscreen through device manager it stopped. I ran a full system scan with Avast but it came up with nothing, I would like to ask if anyone can identify this as just another glitch or something I should worry about. The glitch continued to happen when i put it in aero-plane mode.

Thanks for the quick response, I have only ever used Windows 7 and 10 before, not knowing if this was one of the results of just bad software that Windows 8 is so infamous for.
