Hey guys, not that long ago I needed your help and I need it again.

Right now I have dilema, which cpu cooler to buy. Originaly I wanted Noctua NH-D15, but I'm worried little bit about its performance, because during summer here is constantly over 36°C. I know it is one of the best air cooler out there (if not the best), but I want to overclock my CPU to 4,5GHz (from 3,5, i5-6600K (I had to reconsider basicly whole build, because things are little bit messy right now and can't invest more money, but that's fine)).

So my 2 other options are NZXT Kraken x61 and Magicool DIY Liquid Cooling System. Which of these 2 would you recomend me? Here are links on these 2 coolers. It is e-shop I am going to to buy components from. I found out, they have english version of their web page, it is strange in my country, usually they have only SVK xD.

https://www.alza.sk/EN/nzxt-kraken-x61-d2298306.htm?o=1 - kraken x61

https://www.alza.sk/EN/magicool-diy-liquid-cooling-system-dual-120-d4121918.htm?o=1 - magicool diy kit

I don't have any experiences with custom loop, but I think it won't be big problem.

thanks a lot, any help will be appreciated

If you don't mind using air cooling, you could get the cryorig h7 or h5a which would get your CPU to around 4.5 for way cheaper.  I have an i5 6600k with a cryorig h7 that I got up to 4.4 Ghz.

GPU: ASUS Strix GTX 1070,  CPU: i5-6600k OC to 4.0 GHz,  PSU: Rosewill Capstone G750 750W,  Mobo: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming,  Case: NZXT H440 White,  Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8),  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Mouse: Razer Ouroboros,  Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Chroma, Mousepad: Razer Overwatch KB+M pad, Headset: Corsair Void RGB,  Monitor: 1x ASUS PB277Q 27" 1440p & 1x HP Pavilion 25cw 25-inch 1080p

My plan is to overclock to 4,4-4,5, but problem is, cryorig isn't available in my country. That's why I went originaly with nh-d15.

this is shop I'm going to buy from. They have quite poor supply and they are overprices a bit, but I don't have many other choices :). (I could buy from other country, but it's not worth the nerves if something comes broken.)

Oh ok.  Well then the cooler you chose is pretty good.

i was discussing this issue with some people, and they said they would go with liquid cooler with this high overclock. That's why I'm unsure right now.

tbh I would like the noctua cooler, it looks really sexy and massive xD, but if it's not gonna cool good I have to change.

This liquid option will cool better, but it will also be louder if that matters.

well, I don't mind the pump being loud, as long it's not too loud.

What about the diy kit, worth even looking at it? Heard that custom loops are better in cooling.

The only way a custom loop will be better, is if it has more Rad Surface area. ... and/or you are cooling your Vid Card as well.

A DIY kit that has the smaller dimensions and costs more is an absolute no more me.

The AIO is dual 140mm, the DIY is dual 120mm
