My dad's iPhone just broke and he is now looking for a new phone (unlocked) in the $200 range from Walmart, do you have any suggestions?

S4's are garbage, the batteries all failed and they were a problem phone.

 

Go for an iPhone or if you can find one get a Nexus 5 from Google, they are by far the best bang for the buck you're going to find.

Thank you a lot for these suggestions they will definitely help. But I have a question, if he decided to go with a Galaxy, would you recommend the S4 or the S5 because they are pretty much the same price if he gets a refurbished S5?

s5 is one generation ahead. Why not 5s? I used it before and it looks good.

S5's are alright, I just don't like Samsung's all that much, lots of marketing involved, I'd say if you were to buy a good samsung your dad should buy a Note 3 or a S7.

Is this phone going to be used for work or just for making calls, texts and web use?
