Need help with this decision

I removed the cpu from a laptop Intel i7 2720qm and put it up on ebay yesterday a user that does computer repair contacted me and would like to trade kingston 128ssd for the cpu that's supposedly new should I risk or not

tell him to send the SSD first, then when you recieve it send him the CPU. that way you can be certain he's not scamming. if he refuses this, then simply refuse the deal.

I wouldn't, SSD's are fairly cheap nowadays and a 128gb Kingston SSD is at most only worth around $50. I would just try to sell the CPU, also, you are at the risk of getting scammed.
