Hi everyone, I want to make it short (also if any mods know a better place for this topic, please move it, i could not find any sub on video editing),

I want to render videos, on a separate pc.

My PC is a 4 year old I5 2500k, R9 390 Sahhpire Nitro 8GB RAM. I record using Afterburber (filesize is very big, but its reliable, if you know anything else reliable, but with good performance and smaller filesize, just let me know) and for editing i use ADOBE CS6. I render my videos at 1080p 30FPS and use the Adobe YouTube presets. I mainly do tutorials and small educational videos on youtube and vimeo and other sites.

However the rendering process is an issue for me. 10 minutes of video will take about 16 minutes of rendering tim. I dont know why it takes so long, but it does. Also my CPU is at max during this time, so I cant use my pc for anything during this time, which really buggs me.

I would abosultely LOVE to use a second pc for rendering only because:

- the second pc could be cheap since i dont care if it takes an hour or more on this one since it can quietly sit in the corner anywhere and to his work, while I do mine on my main pc

-the only issue is, that I need to transfer lare amounts of data from my editing pc to the rendering pc, but at gigabit ethernet this should not be an issue AND while transfering my pc will still be usable for other things.

My problem now: I have no idea what a good workflow would be software whise. The only way I could thing of is to copy my premiere pro project along with all the raw material, intall a second copy of premiere pro on the rendering pc and manually open the project there and start rendering. This however seems a bit fiddly and not very efficinet. So if anyone has any suggestions on this, I am open for every advice (except "buy expensive 8 core CPU for your pc, so fast, much speed, very rendering"), and also open for new software. So if you have any suggenstions on how I could get my videos rendere on a second low budget pc and which software I could use please go ahead :)
